What is Background Remover?
Select one JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB. A BiRefNet model runs in a browser worker; initial model downloads need a network connection, but the input image is processed locally. The input is reduced to a maximum 384-pixel edge before preprocessing, then the mask is resized to the original dimensions. Fine hair, transparent objects and similar foreground/background colors may lose detail. Inspect the PNG on light and dark backgrounds before use; a white or black background is optional.
